6. The Event is open to all participants.
7. The Organiser will not be responsible for any contention arising from incomplete or wrong entries given by the participants.
8. If you wish to amend your registration details after completion, please email your request to [email protected]. Deadline for all amendments is by 31st October 2024, 23:59 hours. Please ensure that your request is duly acknowledged by Club Rainbow (Singapore).
9. If you wish to withdraw from the Event after completion, please email your request to [email protected]. Deadline for all withdrawal is by 31st October 2024, 23:59 hours. Please ensure that your request is duly acknowledged by the Organiser.
10. If you withdraw without prior notice, choose not to participate, or do not complete the Event, all donations collected will still be directed to the Organiser for charitable purposes.
11. To be eligible for a place to participate in the Event, all participants must fulfil the minimum donation amount based on the chosen category as stated in the Event Details section of the Event website: www.rideforrainbows.org. The deadline to fulfill the minimum donation amount is by 31st October 2024, 23:59 hours.
12. Upon receiving the minimum donation amount by the deadline stated, the Organiser will send an email to the eligible participants and confirm their participation.
13. All monetary donations raised from this event will be directed to the Organiser for charitable purposes. These will include any funds raised by participants who do not meet the minimum donation amount.

14. All qualified participants in the virtual ride or ralk categories must complete their challenge distance between 6th June 2024, 00:00 hours and 6th November 2024, 23:59 hours ("Event Period").
15. Participants may choose to sync their Strava application with their registered account on the user portal for their ride details to be automatically submitted.
16. Alternatively, participants can also submit their ride details manually if they do not have a Strava profile.
17. Participants with manual submission of ride or ralk details are allowed to accumulate the required distance of their respective category over up to 10 sessions, as long as the full challenge distance is completed within the Event Period.
18. For manual submission, the following information is required to be submitted under your “My Profile” tab (Step-by-Step Guide ) in order to be eligible for the event entitlements:
    A picture of the ride or ralk details which contain the following:
    • Date of activity
    • Distance covered
    • Duration of activity
19. All participants can access the user portal in Event website: www.rideforrainbows.org to submit the above information within the Event Period.
20. For participants manually submitting their challenge details, submission can only be done once. All participants should ensure that they have the required information ready prior to the submission. Amendments or additions will not be allowed once the submission has been made.
21. All participants may choose to ride or ralk either indoors or outdoors, to achieve their challenge distance. They should track their activity using any suitable fitness tracking device or mobile application that meets the criteria outlined in points 15 to 19.
22. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify participants if the submitted information is deemed to be unclear, incomplete or fraudulent. Disqualified participants will not be eligible to receive the post-event entitlements.

23. All participants are responsible for their own safety and physical condition, and should seek professional medical clearance, if needed, before participating in the Event. Since this is a virtual event, you can complete the challenge distance at your own pace.
24. Participants under the virtual ride categories are to adhere to safety advisories, cycling etiquettes and traffic rules when cycling outdoors. Please refer to the following advisories:

25. Please ensure that you are in good health, well-rested and properly hydrated while completing the challenge distance.

By participating in Ride & Ralk for Rainbows 2024 between 6th June 2024 and 31st October 2024 organised by Club Rainbow (Singapore), I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:

1. I am in a good physical health and believe that I am able to complete the respective challenge distance in the virtual ride, run or walk category;
2. The risk of injury from participating in the ride, run or walk exists, including but not limited to the potential for permanent paralysis and death, health risks, and the impact of weather. While particular skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce the risk, the risk of serious injury still exists;
3. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF IT ARISES FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF Club Rainbow (Singapore)/Organiser or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation;
4. I have read and agree to abide by all the Rules and Regulations of the Event, including any amendments to such Rules and Regulations that are in effect during the ride, run or walk; and,
5. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next-of-kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS Club Rainbow (Singapore)/Organiser, their officers, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors advertisers WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL PERSONAL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH or loss or damage to person(s) or property associated with my presence or participation in Ride for Rainbows, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF Club Rainbow (Singapore)/Organiser OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
